IMPERMACULTURE Report 2022
Research report by Isobel Farmiloe on how Gen Z (ages 18-24) redefines home through transience, community, identity, health, and connected technology. Built on a 1,182-respondent global survey and six expert interviews, it argues home is primarily a feeling: safety, belonging, and portable identity. Only 22% want to buy; bedrooms and communal living have become the dominant models. The report draws out policy, design, and tech implications across housing affordability, wellness, privacy, and the Web3 frontier.
